Tamsaianka is a sound meeting between Colombian indigenous musics, sounds of Asia, improvisation and
contemporary music. This multicultural encounter generates an experience that invites the audience to go through states of contemplation and introspection. Carlos Gómez Montoya plays indigenous flutes from
Latin America, Asian flutes, European classical flute, saxophone and metallophone. Yenny León Ochoa plays
piano, melodica and metallophone. Dancing elements are incorporated in some pieces.

The indigenous Muiscas of the cundiboyacense plateau name Tamsa to the offering; the indigenous Wiwa of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta name Maianka to the music. Collecting the wisdom of these two cultures that nourish our life, we call Tamsaianka our offering composed of Ancestral and Contemporary Sounds.
